Buccal fat pad reduction
What is it?
It is a surgery that is performed to improve the facial contour, slimming the face by reducing the area of the cheeks. It is a minimally invasive technique, which consists of extracting fatty pads called Bichat bags.
Before the surgery

Improve facial contour
Face-to-face assessment must be carried out directly with the specialist, and the results to be obtained must be determined. In some patients it is not advisable to perform this surgery, due to the risk of caravelization of the face.
During surgery
This surgery can last between 10 and 15 minutes and is performed under local anesthesia.
First, anesthesia is infiltrated inside the mouth, then an incision of less than 1cm is made and the Bichat bags are carefully extracted and quantified to ensure that the same amount was extracted from both sides.
After surgery
It does not generate disability, the patient can carry out his daily activities. A girdle must be used for a minimum of 15 days and some restrictions must be met that will be left in writing on the day of the appointment.
